For years, we searched. As parents of a young tennis player, we struggled to find premium-quality sportswear for our daughter in India. Every tournament and training session made the gap even clearer. while professionals had access to world-class gear, young athletes had to make do with subpar options.
Like many others, we relied on trips to Europe or the U.S., or requests to traveling friends and family, just to get the right apparel. But that didn’t sit right with us. Why should Indian kids and teens have to look elsewhere for something so essential?

From Idea to Reality: The HOOGAH Journey
Having an idea is one thing bringing it to life? A whole different ball game. When we set out to create HOOGAH , we knew we wanted premium-quality, stylish, and functional activewear for kids. But we had no idea just how many hurdles we'd have to jump over.
Challenge #1 – Finding the Right Manufacturers
India is one of the largest textile hubs in the world, so finding a manufacturer should have been easy, right? Wrong.
Most manufacturers were used to producing casual kids wear, but performance-driven fabrics, ergonomic designs, and sports-specific fits? That was new territory. So, we dug in. 1.5 years of research, testing, and countless prototypes later, we finally developed a range of products that checked all the boxes :
